Jan-Maree BrownI have been practicing 26+2 yoga since the end of April, & have been practicing twice a week. It would be more if I didn't live in Otaki.
I was recommended Hot Yoga by my Chiropractor, as I am quite stiff from training for triathlon. I have hamstring issues & general mobility issues. The 26+2 Hot Yoga sequence has freed me up! I have found running easier & have more flexibility overall. I am not good at stretching after a workout so have found Hot Yoga invaluable. I thoroughly recommend this practice. As I get older I find my muscles tighten up & this helps so much to keep me more supple. I can do Yoga poses now that I couldn't do a month ago, it's improving all the time. |

I’ve always loved yoga but had never tried the 26+2 hot sequence. I moved to Kapiti at the end of last year and was looking for a new studio. I met Anj through work - I was hooked after my first class! I find 26+2 yoga helps me in life both physically and mentally. Physically, I love the energised feeling I get following a class. I sleep better, my digestion has improved, and I am maintaining my flexibility. Mentally, I am more focussed and relaxed throughout the day. As a chiropractor, I also appreciate the benefits 26+2 hot yoga has on spinal strength and mobility, which helps keep my spine healthy and happy. If you have never tried this form of yoga, go for it! There are layers to every posture, so whether you’re a beginner or have some yoga experience, the teachers are amazing at guiding you through a practice that works for your body. |
Pam FaheyI decided to try hot yoga after seeing the introductory offer (2-weeks unlimited access to all classes) not knowing what to expect as I have never done Yoga before. I loved it so much I have been going now for 2 1/2 months, at least 3 times a week and so far have completed about 35 classes.
I go to the Gym regularly but wanted to increase my flexibility and balance and thought Hot Yoga may help, not knowing of course, but just wanted to try and see if it helped. Whilst it is an ongoing practice I can feel the results, it certainly is helping. Overall, I’m finding improvements in my breathing, flexibility, balance and general feeling of wellness. Do what I did, take up the introductory offer and see for yourself. I can certainly recommend it. |

Anj is a fabulous guide and the 26+2 practice was just the right balance for me: a challenge, a mindful work out and a focusing active meditation.
