Everything to gain, nothing to loose

N E V E R

Too young, too old, too broken to start again

Regardless of what your ability is, young, old, fit, broken, we would like to invite you to give us a go. At Kapiti Hot Yoga, you do not need to dress a certain way, look a certain way, you don’t even have to do the poses! Our goal is to provide a safe and welcoming space for you to practice, make some connections, but most of all, let you do you. We look forward to meeting you soon.

You need to know

Booking into class
All students must book & pay for classes online, by selecting the class they wish to attend from the timetable. Once you choose your class, you will be prompted to create an account and will be given a choice of class passes to purchase.
What to wear
Please dress in what feels comfortable for you. We do recommend avoiding loose fitting items as you will sweat. Leggings or shorts and a fitted top & bra for women. For men, shorts & a fitted t-shirt is best.
Where to park
We are located at 8C Ihakara Street, behind Kapiti Dry Cleaners down the driveway. There is plenty of parking right outside the studio, or you can park in the Coastlands parking lot adjacent to the studio.
Your first class
If you are arriving for your very first class, please make yourself known to the teacher when you arrive. The studio will be open 20-minutes before class, and the doors will be locked as soon as the class starts, no late entries will be allowed.
Eating & drinking before class
It is best to practice on an empty stomach. Plan not to have food for at least two hours before class. Generally drinking juice or eating fruit is ok, up to one hour before. Please drink plenty of water before arriving for class & after class.

What to bring
You will need a yoga mat, drink bottle and two large towels (one to place on top of your mat and one to dry off with). Mats, towels & filtered water is available to fill your bottles. There is plenty of space to change and store your belongings.
Hot room etiquette
Please try to enter and leave the
hot room as quietly as possible and
once in the hot room, please minimise the amount of ‘chatter’.
It is tempting to talk to fellow students, but please try to do so discreetly.
Pregnant or injured
Please let the teacher know if you have any injuries, illness, or special conditions. If you are pregnant, we do not recommend you practice the 26+2 hot yoga sequence in your first trimester.

Ready, set, go.
