Yin yoga is a slow moving yoga practice that primarily incorporates seated and/or reclined poses. Our classes are held in a comfortably warm room and each pose is held for a duration of time in relative stillness whilst taking slow, deep, even breaths. Practiced regularly Yin yoga can build flexibility and strengthen connective tissues (ligaments, cartilage, fascia), providing greater range of motion as well as activate your parasympathetic nervous system - the state when the body can rest, digest and restore.

During our 6-week program you will be introduced to the main principals of Yin yoga:
- Explore your comfort zone: Learn which props and or modifications work for you so that you can be comfortable for the duration of the pose.
- Discover your 'Just-Right': Find your 'Goldilocks spot' of intensity (not too hot, cold, but just right) and then explore your edge.
- Breathe and relax: Understand the importance of breath and how it can be used to relax the muscles in the targeted area so that you can achieve a passive stretch.
- Practice being still: Being still can sometimes be more difficult that we expect! Practice your stillness - and experience the effects on your nervous system.

Join us for a rejuvenating, nourishing and blissful afternoon of self care, where you are invited to unplug from the busyness of everyday life. A tranquil time just for you to fill your cup and give yourself the well deserved opportunity to rest, reset and restore your body, mind & soul.
You will be led through a sacred journey of each of the chakras where you will be gently guided on cleansing and clearing specific areas of the body (chakras). We will take time to explore these areas with long held yin poses and a combination of purifying and restoring meditations and activations, allowing you to connect with your inner wisdom and tap in to the transformative power of stillness. This will be a special afternoon just for you, allowing you to explore yoga practices and meditations to unveil your authentic self and a sense of rejuvenation, balance and vitality.
Led by Lisa Oakley, Lisa has a wonderful gift of creating a safe and sacred space where you will have the opportunity to explore the world of chakra energy. Spaces will be limited to ensure an intimate experience.

Join Samuel McMillan for an intimate night of Sound Meditation. During the sound meditation you will be immersed in the deep and energizing tones of large gongs and peaceful and uplifting sounds from a large collection of Himalayan Singing Bowls and other percussion based instruments - including chimes, bells and tang shaws - Samuel creates an environment to help relax one's body, mind and promote a sense of overall well-being and balance.
